Loading ...Frontier Classic X The Frontier Classic X is a major step forward in shelter development made from 4oz Nylon with a 3m Hydrostatic head. The Frontier Classic has a framework constructed from high-grade aluminium in a matt black anodised finish. The unique low profile design ensures that the Frontier Classic receives minimal wind resistance making it extremely stable in inclement weather. This versatile unit comes as standard with 2 x 36” Fox Stormpoles, separate PE groundsheet, Extra Strong Bivvy pegs. When fully packed away with the ground sheet and stormpoles the Frontier weighs a mere 8.7kg.
An additional Winter Skin or Wrap are available to instantly convert the Frontier into a twin skin model. The Wrap incorporates a large porch area, which allows the front panel of the Frontier to be removed transforming the one-man into a two-man shelter with stacks of room. Both the Winter Skin and Wrap have been designed to cope with the coldest conditions by conserving heat loss and eliminating condensation. The Wrap comes complete with a PE extension groundsheet and 2 x 36” Fox Stormpoles to support the canopy. Both are made from high quality 6oz nylon with a 5m Hydrostatic head making them extremely water resistant, hard wearing and will give you many years of service.
